Mission Statement

PR_xOVAIL “Proactive Prostate Health” follows the successful release of the Lignan Research flagship product, BrevailŪ “Proactive Breast Health.”

Lignan Research is devoted to the research, development, and manufacture of unique and novel plant lignans for the purpose of developing cutting-edge nutraceutical products with a special emphasis toward proactive health care.

We are motivated at Lignan Research not only to add years and years of quality lifespan, but also, to avoid the pain, suffering, and debilitation that comes with premature illness. Lignan Research is about a shift from reactive, disease-based health care, to proactive, wellness-based health attainment and preservation.”

Lignan Research was founded in 1997 after winning a Biotechnology Research Grant from the State of Washington Technology Center, University of Washington. During the course of research and development of PR_xOVAIL, Lignan Research went on to win a second consecutive Biotechnology Research Grant entitled “Lignan-Based Strategies for Cancer Prevention.” Grant funds were applied to research and development at the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Washington State University.

Lignan Research has succeeded in launching both Brevail and PR_xOVAIL, the first lignan-based, nutraceutical products available anywhere.

Lignan Research is actively involved with philanthropy, donating a percentage of all proceeds to health initiatives in the areas of research, development and education.

Lignan Research maintains its offices in one of the world’s most recognized cities for advances in breakthrough biotechnology, San Diego, California.
